The department has been serving the citizens of Taliaferro County by responding to fires, accidents and medical emergencies in a timely and professional manner since 1982.  The department maintains three stations; Crawfordville, Sharon and Margarets Grove.  The department is equipped with two pumpers, two tankers, one rescue vehicle, one city pumper and a brush fire vehicle.
